Two thirds of the authors of this blog pay rent (or did so in the not so distant past) in New York city. And of all the people you know, about three fourths wish they lived in Paris. As for me, not having lived in either city has not prevented them from being a constant part of my life, with their perennial presence in television, cinema, literature and (for a tennis fan) even sport.

The two are archetype and stereotype, simultaneously clichéd and inspirational. Polar opposites and yet fundamentally the same. Making this elegantly obvious and in the process somehow commenting deeply on the human condition  is Paris Vs New York. Great sketch art and pin-point observations combining to create something light, fluttery and genuinely amusing. A few examples below but there’s more winning material on the original website.
